Dr. Girish Deshpande is a board certified Orthodontist practicing orthodontics since 1992. He joined Dr. Sonia Sharma Dental team in 2012.

Dr. Deshpande has been providing outstanding orthodontic treatment and creating beautiful smiles for his patients for the last 20 years. With decades of cumulative experience in different aspects of orthodontics, Dr. Deshpande and our support staff have the knowledge, training, and expertise in this very exciting field of dentistry to help you reach your orthodontic goals. Dr. Deshpande has successfully treated over 2000 orthodontic patients including surgical orthodontic patients, cleft lip & palate cases and children with dento facial deformities.

Dr. Deshpande is a member of Canadian, Ontario and American Association of Orthodontist. He was conferred fellowship from Royal College of Dentists of Canada in 2009.

Dr. Girish S. Deshpande utilizes early treatment approach. His treatment goal is to improve or preserve natural facial esthetics. Great amount of attention is given to nose, lip, and chin relationship and a balanced facial profile. He prefers to use non – extraction treatment mechanics. He has combined different treatment techniques and philosophies into a simplified system for easier, faster and safer orthodontic and dento facial orthopedic treatment.

Apart from using conventional colored mini braces, Dr. Deshpande uses self-ligating SPEED appliance and highly esthetic clear ceramic braces
